Lean is a system depends only on machines. The system is mainly focused on human resources organization. All machines are tools used to achieve the goal of lean manufacturing.

Many think that a system like lean manufacturing is a system demanding and people are always under pressure to perform. Yes, it is true that people should run continuously to create a streamlined system. But if I have to work, I prefer a lean environment. I'll tell you why.

One aspect of lean manufacturing is the largest employee involvement in decision making process. Workers in a Lean environment have the power to suggest and take action against waste. Employees will be happier when their ideas into operation. They are motivated by the nature of their work.

Typically lean manufacturing is based on the concepts of work cell to achieve its objectives. Workcells are not just a set of tools arranged in a different layout. The organizational structure of a lean manufacturing environment is organic. There is a large chain of command hierarchy. Each employee has a role to play as a leader. They will make daily decisions. They are very important for the system. No body likes it when someone above him told what to do every time. People love to be treated as a major.

Lean Manufacturing is a collective effort. No functionality is important compared to others. No matter where you work in the organization. You are a part of the system very efficient lean.
