Marketing Online, Why use it?
Why use online marketing? The reasons are plentiful. If you can do it well, it gives you the opportunity to spend your time not your money and promote your property. It gives you access to a much larger market than any other type of marketing. It allows you to gain a competitive advantage compared to large companies that usually are crushed before - with the monetary advantage.
When push comes to shove, online marketing not only provides a level playing field with big companies or big, it gives you an advantage.
Suppose you develop a piece of great software and try to start a small business. If one considers a threat from the big software company, what's going to happen? If not noted, they are going to wipe out. Since you have limited resources and little leverage with retailers, you're in trouble. Not on the web.
Online marketing is beautiful because it flattens the playing field for all players, big and small. The key is multi-channel integration, online visibility, targeting and understanding. No matter how much money a dominant company in an industry throws online marketing, will never have an inherent advantage over you. They have no leverage, because there is nobody to buy out. The best they can do is to buy advertising that most people do not choose.
However, if you connect with customers through the channels they use, with the product they want, and integrate that with full visibility on how to respond, you will have the same if not more of an advantage over one of your opponents in all the wide world. In no way this would ever be possible in the real world unless you have a monstrous amount of money.
In conclusion, the solution is online marketing. Integration of marketing channels, monitor your email, mobile, SMS, internet and multi-channel campaigns and increase your visibility online through your client understanding. While large companies inevitably more money, you will have the customer intelligence that will leave you laughing all the way to the bank.
Why use online marketing? This is the wrong question. The right question is why are not you already? ......
