2.0 The Tourism Brand Trend, But Spain Loses Jobs

The travel portal HolidayCheck ranking published his famous "the 99 most popular hotels in the world?, And in this edition of the Spanish presence has decreased dramatically. Spain occupied a prominent place in the list of HolidayCheck Award 2008 with 31 hotels, fell to 15 in 2009, while in 2010 only 6 hotels have been classified. More than 307,000 users have chosen their favorites among 99 hotels spread over 81,000 hotels worldwide and thus the ranking is made HolidayCheck Award 2010. Tourists staying at the establishments themselves, decide with their opinions the result of the ranking. The absolute winner of this edition has been awarded 33 hotels Turkey, Germany and Austria follow with 14 and 13 hotels respectively, and Egypt achieved the fourth position with 10 hotels. Faced with these countries, Spain has experienced a cold shower to have shrunk its popularity, and yet manages to fall into another list of special prizes which prizes Gastronomy, Sport and Recreation, the Newcomer, the Editor's Choice and preferred by families. There are 5 categories, with 22 additional prizes, apart from the 99 most popular hotels, where Spain stands with two awards by Mallorcan hotel. Special prizes awarded hotels are the Hotel Son Amoixa Vell, for its cuisine, and the Hotel Orient Beach, as one of the best hotels to stay in family. The awards will be presented on March 5 in Frankfurt, where winners meet international hotel under the theme "Tourism 2.0, the client determines its success?.
In that event professionals in the tourism industry will have the opportunity to access a seminar on the impact of web 2.0 in tourism and to know in what way the opinions shared by customers in the communities travelers-both positive and negative, are transforming when choosing destination and make reservations. The registration deadline for this event is open until January 20 and is free.
