Las Terrazas, nature tourism in the Sierra del Rosario
The Resort Las Terrazas is a little Eden in the heart of the Sierra del Rosario, located only 60 km west of Havana, where you can make the trip in about an hour by car, you can go visit one day, but if the place as he subdues with its serene beauty here is accommodation and can extend their visit for 2 or more days.

Getting there

It is the perfect place for travelers who love nature or want to relax in a quiet environment with beautiful landscapes.
- Rancho Curujey. It provides comprehensive information of the complex, a bar and a veranda with a splendid view.
- Water Activities Center. In the lake at the entrance to the Community (town): You can rent rowboats and pedal boats, fishing for trout is permitted but returned to the water of catch (release catch).
- Finance Union. A developed recreational land near the ruins of the coffee-Union of the early nineteenth century by a peasant family attended, restaurant and a beautiful tropical garden - Garden-Union, is reached by road.
- Ruins of Buenavista Coffee Plantation, partially restored, is a vantage point 240 meters above sea level, there is a restaurant, and access is by road.

- Trails and paths, there are 7 paths defined with different degrees of complexity, but all are suitable for the average tourist:
CaƱada Road 1.La Hell. Travel along the canyon formed by the river where you can optionally Bayate baths, past the ruins of the coffee San Pedro and Santa Catalina, has a length of 5 km
2. Sendero Las Delicias. With about 4 km long through part of the NE area of the resort and Mirador finishes in the San Juan Valley.
3. Trekking the pleasure of walking. A journey of about 9 km from the Mirador San Juan Valley to the Buenavista Coffee Plantation passing the ruins of the coffee Santa Susana, La Mariana, Ermita and San Carlos and nearby waterfalls Salto Falls and The Young Escondido. 7. Hiking On The Ridge Tocororo. With a length of 5 km starts at the community of Las Terrazas and ends at the ruins of the coffee plantation La Union, through a mountainous, wooded and with abundant birdlife.

There are restaurants in the Hotel Moka, the Aquatics Center on the lake in the Casa del Campesino coffee near La Union and in the coffee Buenavista. You can also eat in private households in the community of Las Terrazas.
