As Rise Immediately sound the alarm

That was also part of my ritual. Whenever the alarm sounded that annoying noise is turned off immediately. Then, half dazed, and between sleeping, fighting against myself lying in bed:

Okay, back to this My alarm goes off before 6:30 am, almost always between 5:30 am and 6:15 am. On weekends and holidays is the same, although sometimes I finish reading and I fall asleep (I have a rule: if I can read 3 pages I have always speed, then I have too much sleep). I turned off the alarm once, take a deep breath, lift your legs so that to touch the floor jumped with both feet, never do that "one foot before and one after?. I go to the closet and select the shirt of the day, then to the bathroom and start showering, brushing my teeth and leave the room and read emails, check the news and make me coffee.

I can not say that it is an act of self-discipline every morning because it is an act of conditioned response. It's like my mind was frozen, while my subconscious drive my body. Does that sound stupid? Well, okay, I grant you that, but it really works! Practice waking up one seconds after the alarm sounds. That's right, practice. But do not do in the morning. Do it during the day while you are fully awake.
Go to your room. Place setting, close the curtains, all dark, with the temperature you like in the morning. Follow the routine-brushing before bed, put on your pajamas (yes, put on your pajamas, do everything as if you were to sleep, etc.). Place the alarm a few minutes later, I practiced with 3 minutes. Ok, shake a little, back to pre-sleep conditions, back to bed, put the alarm again, and repeat. Do it again and again until it becomes so automatic that you do the whole ritual without thinking.

Feel free to do it several times a day, for as many times as necessary. Imagine it is like the gym, so many repetitions per day, many days a week. Sure, take some time to do this, but nothing compared to the time it will win by being awake.
A few hours of practice will earn you hundreds of hours each year. I for example I am getting up 1 hour earlier than normal, which gives me gain 365 hours per year: this is 45 weeks each additional 8 hours!. Additional time is this that keeps me writing without neglecting my work or my family.
